About

The Burn Limit

What is it?

A webcomic, clearly.

What is it about?

To put it plainly, it's an 'indie' to the core. Created by two friends with no motivation other then to see where it takes them. The story is no doubt familiar in character to any number of other countless 'Day-In-The-Life' webcomics, revolving around two young friends who live together. But the authors feel that this is such a common theme among comic authors for that very reason. But our story centers around Tim McCann and Nick E. (basically caricatures of the creators themselves) and their trials and tribulations, their ups and their downs, in a world of reality just slighty skewed from our own. Also rounding out the cast so far is the duo's adorable, highly intelligent, probably evil green turtle, Boris, also the pair's freewheeling supervisors, the pretty, cynical Mandi Piekhanov and the sufferable (sometimes) Rob Smith. Finally, Dan 'Sexy Dan' Daniels, a man so smooth and sauve he could probably have populated a small town by now.

Who is responsible?

The authors (who like to call their duo 'Platonic Productions') are Thomas Paulson and Nick 'E.' Lohn. The art is done by Thomas on a small template using Photoshop, and Nick E. critiques it and lowers his self esteem. Then they upload it.

When/where was it created?

"The Burn Limit" was officially created sometime in April in the back left booth of a Round Table Pizza in Roseville, California, roughly between 11:30am - 1:30pm

Where do you get your ideas?

Quite honestly, we have no idea. Just random things we observe about life or completely inane situations we think up and then test how our characters would react. That and just things we find funny and try relentlessly to cram into a comic. However, we find the best ideas come when we aren't trying, especially if we are consuming things that are bad for us, like copious amounts of greasy pizza.
